It was a treat to photography baby Grayson in more of a lifestyle setting for his newborn photos! I just love the natural light and cozy, nursery setting for newborn photos. Grayson is a mellow and totally sweet baby and I must say - was crazy about the camera! During a trip back to North Dakota I had the wonderful opportunity to meet baby Miller (aka Millie) just a few days after she was born! She is quite honestly one of the sweetest and most mellow babies I have ever met. Her brother Jack was our big "helper" and I can already tell he's going to be an awesome big brother to his little sister. I just love photographing children in their natural environments using natural light, so most of this session was spent in Miller's nursery. She's just as sweet as can be and her big brother Jack is equally adorable. Enjoy some of my faves below!
Stephanie + Adam's Engagement Session at Plains Art Museum // Fargo, ND Wedding Photographer
I was so excited to meet Stephanie and Adam in my home state of ND. The day of their engagement session was a chilly one so we were glad to be able to shoot their engagement session at Plains Art Museum before we ventured outside. The outdoor portraits were taken at Island Park in Fargo, ND. They were troopers as we went from one location to the next with warm-up's in between every few shots. This sweet duo got engaged on Christmas Eve and will be married this fall. Congrats to the lovely couple!

This cute little gal just turned one and came into the studio on her birthday for a cake smash photo session! What better way to celebrate turning one than by wearing a tutu and digging into a pretty, pink cake! Happy Birthday Shay!

The scenery in Fairbanks this winter has been absolutely magical. Snow covered trees, sparkly snowy lawns, and gorgeous purple skies. It was even more magical on the day of Chasity's shoot when we were surprised with a 35 (above) degree day. Chasity will be doing some modeling for a few upcoming styled shoots I will be photographing and I must say, she has the modeling and posing down perfectly! I had so much fun shooting the Cardona Holiday Photo Session! I photographed Isaiah's 1 year old cake smash at Pioneer Park earlier this year and boy has he grown! We opted to head back to Pioneer Park for their holiday photo session and we were lucky enough to have snow covered trees and a winter wonderland scene for their family photos. It was a beautiful fall day for a family photo session at Bear Lake! Although there was snow on the ground and the air was pretty chilly, it made for a lovely, wintery session.
