OK, I have to say - these might be one of my new favorite types of sessions! It was so much fun photographing this group of high school graduates this summer. It's no secret that lifestyle newborn sessions are one of my favorite types of sessions, but I absolutely love it when I get to go into a family's home right after baby has arrived and document those first moments as a new family. Baby Lucas arrived on Christmas Day -- what a wonderful Christmas gift!
We had a great time at Day Star Farm for Kate and Jeremy's couples session! What better place for cozy, holiday photos! Aside from being a very picturesque location for photos, Day Star Farm is a family run, horse breeding farm. As a horse person myself, I loved seeing the pretty horses grazing in the pastures. The farm is also home to a very friendly donkey that happened to make his way into a few of the images.
This gorgeous family made my job so easy! I absolutely love lifestyle newborn photo sessions -- the sweet freshness of a newborn baby and the happiness that new little baby brings to the lives of everyone it surrounds is such a precious moment in time to capture.
This lovely couple welcomed a very precious little bundle this year and I was so grateful to have photographed him (and his parents) when he was just a few days old. Lifestyle photography is something I really love so when these three opted to add lifestyle shots to their posed newborn session, I was thrilled! There is something so lovely about photographing a family when they have a brand new, fresh baby. So much snuggling and coziness all around. Congrats Bishop family!

Angi and Zeb are honestly two of the most genuine people I've ever met. Their love is so obvious and it was such a joy to photograph them on their wedding day in Fargo. Their wedding party and family was a whole lot of fun too! Congrats to the lovely couple!
